INTERNATIONAL BUILDING SYSTEMS FACTORY (IBSF), RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, a division of ASTRA Industrial Group

and manufacturers of Pre-engineered and structural steel buildings, is recruiting qualified personnel to fill-in the following positions at its Engineering offices in Amman(Jordan) and Riyadh(Saudi Arabia), to fulfill its needs in the process of expansion.

1. Project Control Department Manager

The Manager (Project Control) will coordinate among Sales, Engineering, Operation, Logistics and Customers and ensure that the projects comply its deliverables in time. The Manager should have 10-15 years of experience in PEB/Steel structural fabrication or similar industry, should have B.Sc. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Study clients’ requirement and specifications to reflect them on designs and drawings in accordance with the international standards. Validate technical specifications/contract requirements.
  • Provide customer service levels that meet or exceed customers’ expectations throughout the life of the order.
  • Manage projects to maintain or enhance margin and report periodically. Achieve company objectives and profitability goals within area of responsibilities. Employ sound risk management principles.
  • Proactively identify potential issues, investigate claims promptly and resolve fairly.
  • Supervise projects & make detailed plans to accomplish goals. Provide specifications for special buy-out items. Ensure milestone dates and deliverables are met (i.e. App drawings, manufacturing completion dates, Shipping dates, L/C’s, Variations, etc…..), provide updates throughout entire project.
  • Responding to field issues and questions – engage engineering and other resources required to resolve.
  • Support and engage in a collaborative work environment between Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Manufacturing.
  • Frequently review project costing and service performance.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct post order completion reviews, and identify potential future improvements.
  • Serve as main point of contact to end client for any project-related questions/requests
  • Serve as a committee member in pricing, inventory planning and scheduling.
  • Conduct meetings with consultants or clients on technical matters as per business needs.

2.Senior/Design Engineer:


The ideal candidate should have bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, preferably master degree in Structural Engineering,
and should have 6 to 10 years working experience. Proficient in the use of STAAD Pro for analysis and design of steel structures.
Proficient in MBS or other similar Software for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) design. Experienced in AutoCAD to prepare Design Drawings.
Knowledge of Tekla is a plus. Knowledge of International loading and design standards (ASCE, IBC, MBMA, AISC, AISI, BS, ECP, AASHTO etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, Guide & Train other design / estimation engineers.
  • Design / estimate complex steel structures and Pre-Engineered Buildings.
  • Design Steel Connections, prepare design drawings & calculation packages.
  • Check the works done by other design & estimation engineers.

3.CNC Service Engineer

The Ideal candidate should have bachelor degree in Electrical and should have 3 to 5 years’ experience who will work with other professionals in order to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdown and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
  • Carrying out routine schedule maintenance work and responding to equipment faults Diagnosing breakdown problem
  • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
  • Carrying out quality inspections on job
  • Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures fitting or components
  • Controlling maintenance tools, store and equipment
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs
  • Dealing with emergencies unplanned problem and repairs
  • Improving health and safety policies and procedures
  • Working with specialist equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) which control machinery on factory assembly lines.
  • Waiting maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
  • Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case breakdowns.
  • Working with specialist equipment such as CNC programmable controller
  • Troubleshooting CNC and PLC control systems and Have knowledge in drive motor’s programming and troubleshooting.
  • Training courses should a course in PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Graduation: BSC degree of Electrical Engineering from reputed university
  • Knowledge in drive motor troubleshooting.
  • Experienced in drive motor AC and DC programming.
  • Knowledge – computer knowledge
  • Language: English, Arabic

4.Senior Sales Engineer

The ideal candidate should have bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with an experience of 5 to 8 years working in steel structure industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Forwards sales orders to the Projects Control Department.
  • Coordinates with the Projects Control Department regarding availability of finished goods, time needed for manufacturing, availability of raw materials, and delivering finished products.
  • Implements sales related activities and processes including sales offers, negotiation as well as preparation and review of documentation requirements.
  • Contacts potential clients in the region to introduce IBSF products.
  • Analyzes the sales business process and sales results to identity potential bottlenecks, new opportunities and strategic advantages.
  • Visits Subsidiary clients on regular basis to manage and maintain the relationships.
  • Resolves and follows-up on customer complaints regarding Subsidiary products.
  • Searches and tracks all tenders published in newspapers, the internet, networks or other means.
